Why Don't We's Corbyn Besson: From Boy Band Member to Solo Artist

Who is Corbyn Besson?

Corbyn Matthew Besson is an American singer-songwriter and one of the five members of the boy band Why Don't We (WDW).

Besson was born on November 25, 1998, in Dallas, Texas. He first gained recognition as a member of WDW, which was formed in 2016 and has since released four studio albums and numerous singles. Besson has also pursued a solo career, releasing his debut single "Love Me Better" in 2022.

Musical Career:

As a member of WDW, Besson has co-written and performed on several hit songs, including "Something Different," "Hooked," and "What Am I." He has also toured extensively with the band, performing to sold-out crowds around the world. Besson's solo music has a more mature and personal sound compared to WDW's pop-infused style.

Personal Life and Other Pursuits:

Besson is known for his outgoing personality and passionate advocacy for mental health awareness. He has shared his own struggles with anxiety and depression, hoping to inspire others to seek help. In 2018, Besson underwent emergency surgery to remove a cyst from his brain. The successful surgery has not had any lasting effects on his health.

In addition to music, Besson enjoys acting and has appeared in several short films and television shows. He is also a dedicated entrepreneur and has launched his own line of merchandise and a skincare brand.
