Anthony Rizzo’s Forearm Healing On Schedule
New York Yankees First Baseman Anthony Rizzo’s forearm is healing as expected after he was hit by a pitch on May 15th.
Rizzo was diagnosed with a left forearm contusion and missed the next two games. He returned to the lineup on May 18th and has been playing through the pain ever since.
Rizzo said that his forearm is feeling better each day and that he’s been able to do everything he needs to do on the field.
“It’s getting better,” Rizzo said. “I’m able to do everything I need to do. It’s just a little sore, but it’s not affecting me too much.”
Rizzo is a key part of the Yankees’ lineup and his return to full health is a big boost for the team. The Yankees are currently in first place in the AL East and are looking to make a run at the World Series.
